EC Flamming is a writer, editor, and curator based in Atlanta, GA.
EC’s work focuses on the cultural impacts of moving images and contemporary art to explore how media consumption shapes social relations. She is the Managing Editor of GULCH magazine, a publication of visual arts and culture in Atlanta, and is completing an M.F.A in Narrative Nonfiction from the University of Georgia. She has written for The Art Newspaper, Art Basel, Dear Dave, ART PAPERS, Wussy, BURNAWAY, Screen Slate, and more. She is also an Emerging Curator for Swan Coach House Gallery, and is curating an upcoming Spring 2026 exhibition featuring Heather Bird Harris and Joel Silverman.
